What Is Tunehood?
Tunehood is your comprehensive guide to the live music and local music scene in Tampa Bay, all in one place! We're not a national giant. We're a local resource. Just your local scene, organized and easy to explore. Search shows by date, venue. Find and follow local artists you love.
Our mission: connect music fans to live local music, and give local artists the visibility they deserve. Great bands play amazing shows every week all over the Tampa Bay area. Fans want to find them. Artists want to be found. And yet somehow, those two groups keep missing each other.
Local music scenes are hidden gems that are worth supporting. They're where artists start, where communities gather, and where the most authentic musical experiences happen. Tunehood exists to make sure those scenes thrive.
Where Did This Come From?
Our founder came from the scene. He's a Tampa-based entrepreneur who spent years deep in the DC local music scene as a drummer, radio host, booker, and festival organizer, before bringing this idea to Tampa Bay.
He knows the problem from all sides. As an artist trying to reach fans, and as a fan trying to find great local music, he saw the gap up close. Tunehood is the platform he always wished existed.
